RustMo1 Solar Farm
RustMo1 was the first IPP as part of the REIPPP initiative to reach financial close in 2012 and commercial operations in 2013. RustMo1 Solar Farm is situated in the Rustenburg area, North West Province, South Africa. RustMo1 has contributed to many improvements to the local energy infrastructure through uninterrupted power generation during the daylight hours, reducing the carbon footprint and promoting socio-economic development in the local area.

RustMo 2 is a Solar PV plant, currently in the development stage. It has been designed with a capacity of 60 MW solar generation, and with integration of Battery Storage Energy Systems (BESS). The facility will generate and provide power to platinum mines in the Rustenburg area.
